This course contains information on cultivating mushrooms with low investment and setting up a business unit. It explains how and which type of mushrooms can be cultivated across the year. It includes details about how to design and plan the mushroom farm or cultivation area. It also includes various other aspects required to monetise the produce. Most importantly, the entire course was recorded at a cultivation farm to include demonstrations of the entire process.

No, this course will explain how you can grow mushrooms naturally. You will be taken through the process of cultivation for 3 types of mushrooms. The cost of setting up a plant is huge. It is advisable to learn natural methods first, try the processes first-hand and then adopt more investment heavy approaches like setting up a plant.

Can I cultivate button mushrooms across the year?

You can cultivate button mushrooms only during winters since you have to maintain the temperature at 16 degrees. In this course, you will be taken through the cultivation process for oyster mushrooms, milky mushrooms and button mushrooms. By growing these three types of mushrooms, you will be able to ensure cultivation throughout the year.

What is the minimum area required?

You can start with an area as small as 5X5 ft.

What is the minimum investment required?

You can start with an investment that is as low as INR 2500.

What are the profit margins for a mushroom cultivation business?

Profit margins depend on the cultivation area and the business model. Mushroom cultivation farms have seen a 75%-200% profit on investment over a duration of 6 months. We will discuss this topic in detail during the course.
